A long-time provider of communication solutions for motorcycle enthusiasts, Sena is now thrilled to be able to support the pinnacle of motorcycling, MotoGP™.

“We are beyond excited to join the LCR Honda team for the upcoming 2019 MotoGP™ Championship.” Says Tae Kim, CEO SENA Technologies, Inc. “To participate on the global Grand Prix stage is an honor and we could not be more excited to #RideConnected with LCR and Cal Crutchlow’s 2019 campaign.”

Cal Crutchlow

Cal Crutchlow will fly the Sena colors on his #35 Honda as the talented veteran takes the grid for his eighth MotoGP™ season. The 2011 Rookie of the Year has earned his stripes in the GP paddock, more than proving himself by claiming three Grand Prix victories and sixteen podiums over the years.

“It’s my fifth year with LCR and I’m very, very pleased with the situation, it’s the longest I’ve ever stayed with any team.” says Crutchlow. “ I’m thoroughly looking forward to my fifth season along with Lucio (Cecchinello) and the whole team, we all work hard together and I hope the team are looking forward to it just as much as me.”

Crutchlow, number 35, will be racing on an LCR Honda CASTROL RC213V.

LCR Honda Team

The LCR Honda team is lead by Lucio Cecchinello, a former top 125cc racer, who started the LCR team in 1996 and has since built it up to what it is today. The LCR team moved from the 125cc class, to 250cc class, and has now competed in the MotoGP™ class since 2006. To date the team as a whole has seen 81 podiums, 24 victories and 26 pole positions.

Cecchinello beamed, “I think Cal will once again be one of the fastest and most competitive riders in the championship. We are delighted to be working with him for a fifth consecutive year.” He continued, “I want to thank Honda HRC for the crucial support they have provided since our debut in MotoGP (2006). A special thanks must also go to our long-term partners, as well as the new ones that have chosen to join us in our racing project. Now we just have to get going!”
